Marketing Specialist - Creative

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to be a part of a first-class team engaged in bringing an amazing new product to market. The key to being successful in this position will be your energy, creativity, and your passion for new and interesting work. As Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with our Sales and CSO teams to guide product creative and messaging from conception through launch. As part of the Marketing team, you bridge the design and business worlds as you create videos and collateral that our customers love. You'll work with top contributors from Engineering, Sales, CSO, and Finance, to name just a few. You have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drives marketing at QuirkLogic speed. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be part of shaping QuirkLogic's identity to the market and our next big win.
You will be responsible for developing graphics and videos and supporting programs to drive the growth of QuirkLogic products worldwide, but just North America to start. This includes launching products and working closely with our product marketing, CSO and other customer teams to define the right market story to support our products.

As a larger Marketing team, we’re responsible for guiding the story throughout the customer acquisition cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing response rates, positioning, packaging, promoting and building the sales funnel through tailoring our programs to all the markets where we do business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Design to deliver a standardized look for QuirkLogic messaging that is in line with the new web site design
  • Deliver 1-2 short videos per month in support of the Marketing, Sales, and CSO programs
  • Digital media, trade show booth design, packaging/labeling, graphics, and icons
  • Develop and deliver a strategy to host and support a video environment to support customer learning as well as Sales and Marketing needs
  • Articulate and deliver a three-level approach to our video messaging
    • Level 1 - targeted at businesses who are interested in us - these videos will be posted to the web for re use
    • Level 2 – focused on potential resellers
    • Level 3 – API, Analytics, and market insight
  • Develop a signature look for QuirkLogic and a brand guideline for use by our internal teams and our partners
  • Experience with event planning and major trade show presence
  • Represent the Company, the Brand, and the Product for PR initiatives

Your Background Includes:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience for technology companies. Experience with start-ups preferred
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or Communications
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C technology and marketing
  • Experience with web design, web site management, HTML5, Java, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, web content submission standards, google analytics, storyboarding
  • Proven track record with product launches and creating successful marketing campaigns
  • Exposure to developing or working with graphic designers, content marketers, event planners and external agencies.
